EVERYONE! As light therapy works on a cellular level to restore cellular function, there isn't a single body in the world that wouldn't benefit from its rejuvenating effects!
Great results have been achieved in treating chronic pain, chronic fatigue, sports injuries, post-surgery injuries, fibromyalgia, alzheimers, MS, skin conditions such as acne and rosacea, eye issues, sleep disorders, mood dysfunction, weight problems and so much more!
Every body is different, and everyone has a different degree of cellular damage. Therefore, there is no set 'rule' on how long you will need to use the light bed before seeing results.
We recommend having 3-5 sessions at least, to start seeing some benefits. This may come in the form of pain relief, more mobility, an increase in energy or even softer, healthier looking skin. The improvements will vary from person to person, but rest assured healing is definitely taking place!
Ideally, if you can aim to do 2-3 sessions per week, that is a good starting point.
Since the treatment works on a cellular level, it may take a few months to see measurable results.
LED light therapy is safe and natural, so there’s no harm caused to the body no matter how much it is used. However, more isn’t always better.
The focus here should be on consistency. Making time to use the bed at least once a week, preferably 2-3 times a week.
Our cells need time to heal and regenerate, and hitting the body with longer or too frequent sessions will not necessarily yield better results.
As an example, skin cells regenerate about every month or so. Newborn cells that get red light exposure can immediately function at a high level, but skin cells don’t all regenerate at once. So there is time needed for the cellular regeneration to occur. You can expect peak results to take approximately 1-4 months, but keep in mind that this may vary from person to person.
The light bed gradually warms up throughout your 25 minute treatment, but should not get to an uncomfortably hot temperature. It feels like a calming, warm embrace! If at any point you feel uncomfortable for any reason, please discontinue your treatment and exit the pod.
One treatment will take 25 minutes in the pod, with another 15 minutes allowed for you to settle in to the room, get changed, set up your bluetooth if desired and get comfortable.
You can wear your underwear inside the pod, bearing in mind that the more skin exposure the better!
We recommend the bed be used by ages 16 and up. If you are under 18, please ensure your legal guardian books on your behalf, agrees to our terms & conditions when booking, and is present at the session.
Yes! Jewellery, hair accessories and anything else on the body is completely safe. It won't heat up or be a problem at all.
Yes. The pod is safe for anyone weighing up to 120kgs.
Unfortunately, at this stage, RevitaLight are located on the first floor of our building which doesn't have lift access.
Please keep this in mind when making a booking. You will need to be able to ascend/descend the stairs, and also get yourself into and out of the pod.
